Brushy Peak Hike

Yesterday we went to Brushy Peak for a hike, and Charlie seemed to enjoy it, though it had been many months since he had been in his carrier. He did not like when Jason stopped, and said "go" and "let's go" repeatedly until we started moving again.

He was very excited about a couple of horses on the trail, and when we got back to our car, we saw another couple preparing to ride out on their horses. They were kind enough to allow Charlie to pet the horses, and he thoroughly enjoyed it. I can't wait til I can get him in the saddle.

When he heard the windmills, he kept saying "train" and "choo-choo." But later he remembered them, and when I reminded him about them, he said "spinning."

One of the best parts of the day was when Charlie saw a tree that had fallen over and said, "Night-night tree." Priceless.

And these pictures are from this morning, when Charlie somehow got his arm through the neck hole, and came wandering in the bedroom, going "help, Daddy."

LOL! He still fits Mike, but he is definitely bigger. He can rest his feet on the bar now though :)

Daddy, you can take Charlie up there anytime!
