Charlie doesn't really "get" Halloween, but we dressed him up anyway, as a cowboy, and off we went to Les Chenes, to see Candice and Richard, our friends there. We enjoyed wine and Charlie enjoyed some pumpkin torte (or as he called it "cake"), before we headed back home for trick or treating. However, Charlie did not want to leave the wagon, and cried before he even got up to a door to ring the bell, so we put him back in wagon, walked the circle, and stopped at our across the street neighbors, where he finally agreed to go up to a door with Daddy. :)
After choosing a butterfinger, and thanking Mike, he asked me to "open" it, and ate half of it. Some of his first candy ever. :)
